Terms of Service

1) Account & access

You are responsible for your account activity and keeping your login details secure.

2) Marketplace role

UPIFO provides the platform only. We are not a party to agreements between users unless explicitly stated.

3) Tasks & proposals

Clients publish tasks and freelancers send proposals. Users must provide accurate information and communicate respectfully. After the due date, a task may automatically become inactive/closed and stop collecting proposals.

4) Payments

Payment arrangements are agreed between users (cash/bank transfer/by agreement). Confirm key details in chat. UPIFO charges a platform fee for publishing a task equal to 10% of the task’s stated budget (the “posting fee”). The posting fee is paid for publication/access to the platform and UPIFO is not a payment service or escrow: UPIFO does not accept, hold, or distribute payments between clients and freelancers. Compensation for the work is settled directly between the parties. The posting fee is non-refundable once the task is published, even if no freelancer is selected or the task becomes inactive/is deleted, except where required by law.

5) Prohibited behavior

Fraud, spam, harassment, discrimination, threats, or illegal content are not allowed. Violations may lead to restriction or ban.

6) Liability

We do not guarantee task outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, UPIFO is not liable for disputes between users.

7) Changes & termination

We may update these terms and suspend accounts for violations. Users manage their own tasks: deleting/hiding a task is a user action and may be irreversible. Continued use means acceptance of updated terms.
